The history of the Wanamassa Fire Company

The Wanamassa Fire Company, located in Ocean Township, New Jersey, was established on February 6, 1922. The company began with twenty-four local residents who recognized the need for dedicated fire services in the area. Over the years, it has grown into a vital part of the community, providing not only fire suppression but also rescue and public education services. Celebrating over 100 years of service, the Wanamassa Fire Company is a fully volunteer organization dedicated to protecting its community
